Update on migrating to Linux

It seems like ages since I last blogged in this topic. Looking back in the history, I can see that it was back in January.

It’s not that I’ve lost interest in this, it’s just that I haven’t had the time to do any more. My new job has taken most of my time as I’ve settled in.

I’ll be getting back into it soon. Mind you, there are several other projects on the go as well; which I’ll be blogging about in the near future. Among these are:

*more work on automating basic functions in the house;
*updates, or not, on our caravan problem;
*building a couple of radio related projects; and
*recovering my ability to send and receive morse code.

  1. Good day! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from an established blog.
    Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things
    out pretty fast. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where
    to start. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks

    1. Blimey, where to start 🙂
      If I were starting out again, I’d start off with either a WordPress hosted blog at wordpress.com or on Blogger.
      If you have a Google account then you already have a, sort of, blog on Google Plus.

      Mind you, if you have a Google account than you have immediate access to Blogger.

      Any of the above will work, but the major question is: Do you have compelling content that people want to read?

      Good Luck.
